Profiles Headlines
Mar 20, 2014 -- Rabbi Ari Enkin recently fulfilled his life-long dream of making aliyah after serving for seven years as a congregational and community rabbi in Montreal, Edmonton and Winnipeg. He received his semicha from the Yeshiva Gedola of Montreal and the late Rav Pinchas Hirshprung. He also received yadin-yadin ordination from a number of prominent dayanim, including the late Rav Ephraim Greenblatt of Memphis. He holds a master's degree in informal adult education from Athabasca University in Alberta, Canada.

Since making aliya, Rabbi Enkin has taught at a number of yeshivot and seminaries in the area of Halacha studies and regularly delivers lectures and shiurim in the community by invitation. He is the author of the "Dalet Amot of Halacha" Series (6 Vol.), among other works of halacha.

Rabbi Enkin is widely sought after for halachic advice and guidance by rabbis and laymen alike. He is married to Shayna and they have four children: Shira, Eitan, Tehilla and Elimelech. They live in Ramat Beit Shemesh.
