Halacha Line
The Halacha Line is an innovative initiative of the Rabbinical Council of America (RCA), designed to provide member rabbis with direct access to the YU/RIETS Beis Medrash for timely and authoritative halachic guidance. This essential service facilitates direct consultation with YU/RIETS Roshei Yeshiva as halachic resources. Responses are intended exclusively for the inquiring rabbi and do not represent official RCA halachic policy. The Halacha Line provides RCA member rabbis with a dependable platform for accessing expert halachic guidance, enhancing their ability to serve their communities effectively. The RCA Mental Health Line is a confidential mental health service designed specifically to support RCA members and their spouses. We understand the unique challenges that come with rabbinic life and are here to provide thoughtful, professional guidance.
The RCA Scholar-in-Residence Initiative for Smaller Communities – This special program is designed to bring high-quality Scholar-in-Residence programming to smaller synagogues with limited financial resources. Through this initiative, the RCA is creating a network of dynamic pulpit Rabbis from these smaller communities who are accomplished and engaging speakers and educators.
